Michael A. Cohen graduated from Syracuse Univeristy College of Law in 1982.

Mr. Cohen became an Assistant State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit, in Miami-Dade County, Florida and was the Chief of the DUI Division from 1983 to 1985.

Mr. Cohen originally joined Essen, Essen, Susaneck & Cohen, P.A. in 1985, becoming the senior supervising attorney.

He has personally represented over 1,000 people charged with DUI in court and administrative hearings.

Mr. Cohen has lectured extensively before The Florida Bar, police, prosecutor and national organizations on the subject of DUI.

He has appeared on many National and local television shows. Most recently he was a featured guest on Hannity & Combs on Fox News and Prime News with Erica Hill on CNN as well as appearances on Court TV.
